ThinkBit Apps ("we," "us," or "our") operates the WakeUpr mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, and if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email address those services share with us. You can also use the App as a guest without creating an account; in that case we store your data under an anonymous identifier only.
Alarm and app-usage data. Alarm schedules, mission types and settings you configure, mission completion history, streaks, coins, and other in-app progress data.
Camera data for mission verification. Some missions (for example, photographing an object or verifying an exercise) use your device's camera. Photos are analyzed to confirm you completed the mission — using on-device processing when possible, or a third-party AI vision service when needed (see Section 3). We do not store the photos themselves — only the pass/fail result of the check is saved to your account.
Purchase information. If you subscribe, purchase and subscription-status information (such as plan type and renewal date) is provided to us by Apple/Google and our subscription-management provider. We never see or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple's or Google's billing systems.
Device and diagnostic information. Basic device information (device model, OS version) and crash/error logs, used to keep the App working reliably.
Health data (optional). If you connect Apple Health, we read sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, and respiratory-rate data to build your nightly sleep summary and trends, and store the resulting sleep/vitals measurements in your account. If you enable the optional sync-back setting, we also write the sleep sessions you log in the App to Apple Health. This only happens if you grant HealthKit permission, and you can revoke it at any time in your device's Health app settings.
Microphone and motion data for sleep sensing (optional). If you enable overnight sleep tracking, the App uses your device's microphone and motion sensors to measure sound and movement levels while you sleep, which we use to estimate your sleep stages and detect snoring. We never record, store, or upload raw audio — only live sound and motion levels are measured, and nothing leaves your device in raw form; the resulting sleep-stage and snore-duration summary is stored in your account.
Squad and social data (optional). If you join or create a Squad, other members of that Squad can see limited information about you, such as your display name, avatar, wake times, streaks, and duel results, as part of that shared feature.
We do not sell your personal information.
We rely on the following third-party service providers to operate the App. Each processes certain data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security practices:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (alarms, streaks, wake history, synced Health/sleep-sensing measurements, squad membership, and everything else tied to it) at any time directly in the App, under Settings → Delete Account — this takes effect immediately. If you'd rather we handle it for you, you can instead contact us at thinkbitapps@gmail.com.
WakeUpr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls on our backend infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California). This includes rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the in-App deletion option above or contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice in the App where appropriate.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at thinkbitapps@gmail.com.
